This time, I have definite, positive confirmation that we’ll be in the Owner’s Lounge starting at 5 pm that evening. We also know that there will be NO Blazer game this evening. Or major college football bowl games, either.
Why are we making these points? Weeeeellll…we managed to show up last time to a jam-packed full place (Blazers vs. Celtics! Duck bowl game! Woo-hoo!), and didn’t get our Owner’s Lounge room after all. The people at The Agency bent over backwards to squeeze us in anyway (we got to sit at the Talkin’ Ball table), and promised to do right by us if we gave them another chance.
So we compared our calendars, checked sports schedules, ruled out the Obama inauguration day, steered clear of all of those Wednesday events, and finally settled on Tuesday, January 13th.
