Another great weekend filled with too many activities to choose between… But it’s my job to chose them so…

Thursday night 9/25 - Shiny Toy Guns - Berbati’s Pan (Doors @ 7  Show at 8  ) - Shiny Toy Guns are known for putting on great shows, and so I’ll be interested to see how they are with Sisely Treasure, their new lead singer…. (it went quite poorly)

Friday 9/26 - 1st Presidential Debates. PDXPipeline has an excellent rundown of all the watch parties.  Look for McCain to have a real tough time with the debates as he’s tried to cancel them several times now. I may also try to catch Beer and Blog (4-6 at the Green Dragon) before the debates as the Wordcamp folks will all be there.  After the debates I plan to go catch some of Portland Art Open, which kicks off then.

Saturday 9/27 - The Portland Winterhawks are back and playing at the Memorial Coliseum. Their game tonight is against the Vancouver Giants, and I always have fun going to their games!  7pm.

Tuesday 9/30 -  All you ‘MOTs’ can celebrate the Jewish new year with a blast with the Silver Jews / Monotonix show at the Wonder Ball room. I caught Monotonix at MusicFest NW and it was the single best show i’ve seen in years. Not a heeb? Don’t worry… you’ll still have the time of your life!
