It’s going to be a busy weekend for me as there are a good number of events I don’t want to miss!

Sportfight 24 Friday 9/19 @ The Rose Garden - 7pm. Premiere mixed martial arts.  10 fights including Colt Toombs - Rowdy Roddy Piper’s son.

CSS (Cansei de Ser Sexy) Friday 9/19 @ The Roseland Theater - 8pm. Although one of their songs is “CSS Sux” they actually don’t. The best band out of Brazil since Sepultura!

Portland Pirate Festival Sat & Sunday 9/20 &  9/21 @ Cathedral Park, St. Johns.   Arrrgh! Portland is home to just slightly more Pirates than Ninjas and so this weekend is you time to raise your Pirate flag.

Damadge Goods DVD Release Party Sunday 9/21 @ The Clinton St. Theater - 5pm. David Walker, former WWeek film critic and all around badass shows his magnum opus about relationships. It’s naked, brutal, honest and funny. Go to the party and pick up the DVD.
