Who? Greg Oden, that’s who. But not for his basketball playing. Not because he’s an ardent Obama supporter, or a great role model for kids. And most definitely, positively NOT for his singing, as this clip clearly attests:
But Oden’s awesomely horrific rendition of a N’Sync tune (along with some Timberlake-esque moves) had me applauding his willingness to put it all out there. And John Canzano concurs, calling it the “worst karoake performance by a human over 7 feet tall,” even as he gives Oden kudos for not caring about “embarrassing himself.”
I was having a horrible, rotten, absolutely no-good day. After watching Oden? Not so much anymore….
