I was reading my Twitter feed this morning and came across an entry by @wilw:

Stand By Me is playing at the Clinton Street Theater tonight in Portland, Oregon. It’s a studio print, so it’ll look great.

@wilw is Wil Wheaton.  Many know him from his Star Trek days.  I was surprised to be reminded that he was one of the young boys in Stand by Me, a classic from my teenage years.  I always thought he was younger.

So, straight from Twitter.  If you don’t have plans tonight, head on down to the Clinton St. Theater for a rare studio print of Stand by Me.  Show starts at 8:30 and is only $6.  And remember, Stand by Me was filmed here in Oregon.
