At this very moment, Pioneer Courthouse Square is being transformed into Piazza Italia for this year’s Festa Italiana, which runs from August 21st to 24th. The festival will include (of course) Italian food so you can look forward to pizza and pasta, at least, as well as wine and beer in the garden area.

Lamborghini Portland is one of this year’s sponsors of the festival, and will be present in the Square all four days. In addition, Thursday evening starting at 7:00 pm soloists from Portland State University will be performing arias and ensembles from Italian operas.

Organized by the Festa Italiana Association, this event is intended to be a family-friendly celebration of Italian-American culture. Admission is FREE. The Festival is open from 5:00 pm-9:30 pm Thursday, 11:00 am-11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 am-7:30 pm on Sunday.
