Ah, summer. The time of getting outside and having the ability to choose from a host of music festivals, some in the NW, some not. If you’re opting to stay close to home, there are plenty of events happening that won’t cost you a ton. You’ll even have money left over for a nice pasta dinner.

This weekend, it’s PDX Pop Now. The event started Friday and continues through Sunday evening at Rotture.

This free annual event is open to all ages. So, if you’re a parent looking for a place to take your family and expose them to live music, here’s a great opportunity to do so.
