Want to talk to Trimet? Get over to Get Satisfaction

TriMet has a new survey out polling SE bus riders. I’m not going to take it - I no longer ride the bus - although with gas prices aiming for the stratosphere, I should reconsider that decision. (I did buy a monthly transit pass for my teen & have strongly encouraged him to mobilize his own damn self this summer - or else earn money to help pay for taxi service. Wisely, he’s choosing the former approach…)

I found out about the survey from Reid Beels, who took the survey link (sent out by TriMet over Twitter - yes, TriMet’s on Twitter, thanks to Reid!) & used it to populate a new customer interaction space over on Get Satisfaction.

What’s Get Satisfaction, anyway? It’s a service that encourages companies to take their customer conversations public for all to see, on the theory that they’re smarter if they proactively jump into the conversation rather than let people clump together on their own and then openly fester for all to see.

From their website:

Get Satisfaction is a community that helps people to get the most from the products they use, and where companies are encouraged to get real with their customers.

I, for one, can’t wait to see what happens next. TriMet? We’re waiting for you…!

In fact, I might just find space in a sidebar here somewhere for this widget:
