What, no posts yet? Maybe people are staying away from their heat-producing computers? I need tips, people!
Here’s what I do. It’s not the most attractive thing (mostly owing to my non-Adonis physique), but it works.
I take off my t-shirt and soak it in cold water from the shower. Then I wring the shirt out to the point where it isn’t going to drip and I put it on. It’s cold at first but that’s good! Then I sit in front of a fan and evaporate. Ahhhhh…
Matt, that trick saved me several times over - most notably, when I needed to prepare food for 50 people in my teeny tiny second floor kitchen with really inadequate ventilation - in the middle of a humid Michigan heat wave, no less.
I remember re-wetting that shirt down three times over before I finally finished all the food prep…!
