(Update, 9:56 pm: am now at home relaxing and fixing bugs/installing plugins; am crossing out to-dos as I finish them…!)

I’m dealing with all kinds of ‘the baby done got borned early’ issues here in Command Central - or will be later tonight when I get back from the day job.

Here’s what’s on my ‘to fix’ list:

There’s something wacky that is pulling in posts into the tab section in a way that’s ignoring their categories. I’ll have to play with the site later tonight (disabling plugins, troubleshooting, etc.) - don’t be surprised if you see stuff disappear off of the sidebar or have some challenges from time to time.
Fixed! The moral of the story? The ampersand is not necessarily your friend when used in a category label…

Here’s my to-do list for later tonight:

• Add content to the pages (About, Contact Us, Network, People, etc.)
• Add navigation links to the bottom of the main page so people can see previous posts
• Clean up the Authors page, add in ways for people to contact us
• Figure out how to do custom category pages
• Do some site optimization

and, oh yeah…

• Add in a stats package already…!

Oh, WP gurus - what else should I be doing here? Are there plugins/settings/changes I should be making? Give it to me in the comments, please…
